How Much Will I Earn?
The minimum wage for most jobs in America is US $ 5.15 per hour. The exception to this is jobs where tipping is common, for which the minimum wage is US $ 2.13 per hour. Work & Travel USA participants average US $ 6-9 per hour, and monthly earnings range from US $ 850 – 1,500 per month, depending on hours and overtime.

Program Fee & Payment Terms
The program fee for Work & Travel USA Summer 2008 is NRs _____. This includes:
- obtaining the DS 20-19 form
- assisting in the visa application process
- confirmed job contract
- SEVIS fee
- pre-departure orientation
- assistance services in the USA
- travel & medical insurance.

The program fee is payable as follows:
- US Dollar 200 non-refundable initial deposit on passing interview and signing Agreement
- US Dollar 2, 850 on finalizing package of documents for DS2019 and acceptance of job

The program fee does not include the following:
- Visa fee charged by the US embassy ($135)
- Air fair: depends on time of year and route selected.

Late Applications
Applications received less than 4 weeks before the date of departure for the USA will incur an additional charge of US Dollar 100, to cover the cost of sending documents and funds to the USA.

Cancellations and Refunds
Program Fee:
- should notification of withdrawal come before the DS 2019 form is issued, a cancellation fee of US Dollar 600 will apply. The balance of any additional program fee already paid will be refunded
- should notification of withdrawal come after the DS 2019 form is issued, a cancellation fee of US Dollar 900 will apply. The balance of any additional program fee already paid will be refunded.

Visa Application Fee:
There will be no refund of the visa application fee charged by the US embassy even if the application is refused. A cancellation fee of US Dollar 600 will apply. The balance of any additional program fee already paid will be refunded.

SEVIS Fee:
The US Government SEVIS fee of US $ 135 is non-refundable and will be charged in addition to the above cancellation fees if the DS 2019 form has been issued.
